We decided that it was time to start thinking about designing the best possible awning system for our Signage Display that is inexpensive, durable and attractive, but most important of all, protecting the display from water leakage from the ceiling.
The following are some of the quick idea generation I did in the initial stage.
I kept in mind that while roofing the display, the leaked water must
flow to the area easy to access and clean for the building staff but
out of the high-traffic area, especially from the users of this
display.
I also wanted to explore further in the form as this Digital Signage Display is symbolic to our Faculty that it must reflect upon. And the following are some of the concepts that are "futuristic and out-of-the-world".
And the following are quick renderings of these futuristic awning designs in different colours. Because the building itself is original, I thought adding the contrary of "Futuristic" would result in an interesting and unique blend and environment.
