05. Interface Design: Directory

First thing First. The main content of our signage display is the Directory of the Engineering and Design Faculty.  Below is before the make-over. The profiles look like business cards and the featured members are not well framed or emphasized enough. 

Before the make over: The profiles look like plain business card, instead of directory. 

I took into consideration that the directory is flipped-through horizontally. Therefore, horizontal alignment of the directory would make more sense and intuitive.

After the make-over: It no longer has the look of business card, but an official directory. The horizontal arrangement of the faculty is more natural for the users to flip-through horizontally.
