07.Interface Design: Buttons

The belt of departments and other contents were redesigned. 
The following is before; it is hard to tell what each "card" represent at one glance. 



We thought this is where some graphics could come in handy to allow viewers to quickly grasp what this display is showing. So we have decided to design each "card" or "button" to be more self-explanatory and unique. We explored and designed unique icons for each button and for every department of the Engineering and Design faculty to quickly give the viewers the idea what each department is about at a glance.





















   

 











Below is all the redesigned buttons in context of the interface.  The background interface is also to be manipulated for the optimal use of display such as telling date and time, what bus is arriving soon, what is the weather as a default without having to browse through the display.
