We were relieved to have found that the site had moderate traffic as our interactive display will require the users to move their arms around while standing in the area and possibly blocking the passages of others. The location is also ideal that it is in the entrance, where visitors ought to have access to information about the Faculty such as "Directory".
During this visit, we have recorded some measurements to recreate the scene virtually.
Below is a quick 3D modeling we have created using Solid Works using the measurements we have found and made a rough representation of the display and awning. The green figure is a 5'6" person to to add a sense of context.
